Students from the Digital Careers group visited 3B Systems on Thursday 4th April to support their research and explore how information technology is used in a real workplace. During the visit, they toured the shop and wider premises, gaining first‑hand insight into what a computer retailer does day‑to‑day. They also took part in an engaging talk from Saj Butt, learning how technology has evolved over time and asking thoughtful questions about the centre and Saj’s role. The experience supported key learning objectives, including encounters with employers, workplace experience, and linking curriculum learning to future careers.
