Pendle Community High School & College welcomed Jamil Farooq, the popular food reviewer and vlogger known as JF Fantastic, on 27 March 2026 for an inspiring careers‑focused visit. Digital Journalism students confidently led the session, introducing Jamil to classes around the college and conducting a professional interview that supported key learning objectives such as asking interview questions and recording a podcast or video. The visit strongly reflected on key educational objectives as students behaved with professional manner, showcased their communication skills, and gained valuable insight into careers in digital media. They prepared interview questions, rehearsed their roles, filmed the full conversation, and guided Jamil through the college community.
