Students from the Digital Careers group enjoyed an inspiring visit to Nelson and Colne College on the 11th of June, where they explored how information technology shapes real workplaces and future study pathways. As part of their research-focused learning objectives, students took part in a hands‑on animation workshop, discovered the world of creative media, and toured an impressive arts gallery showcasing N&CC students’ work. The visit strongly supported key educational objectives by giving learners meaningful encounters with staff, insight into further education opportunities, and real experiences of a professional digital environment. Students behaved exceptionally well throughout the day and gained a valuable understanding of what their local college has to offer.
