As part of the last week of term’s “Green earth” day, Calder students went out into the school grounds and carried out a big litter pick in one of the planted areas . We could spot the litter easily as the leaves have started to fall off many of the plants. We took a ‘before’ and ‘after’ photo and were very proud of our results!
In the afternoon we planted some spring bulbs which, although they look really boring now, we are looking forward to enjoying in the spring time, with lots of beautiful colours!
