The year 9 pupils took a trip to Nelson and Colne college to attend the STEAM Festival on 27 February 2026. They have taking part in activities such as Talkioke, rocket‑making, drawing and exploring memory‑foam technology from Silentnight, while meeting employers from In Situ, engineering, forensics and AIRBUS. The event offered a concise but meaningful introduction to how STEAM subjects link directly to future careers.
