On 23rd February 2026, our Digital Journalism students had an inspiring and highly interactive experience as we welcomed Caitlin Hanson, School Liaison Officer from Burnley College, for a careers‑focused visit that brought real‑world industry practice directly into the classroom. The session gave students the chance to develop their interviewing and media‑production skills while gaining valuable insight into future pathways within digital media and further education.
