Our visit from Carole and Gordon Tucker on 17 April 2026 gave our Digital Journalism students a valuable real‑world learning experience. Students confidently applied their skills by asking interview questions and recording a podcast, meeting key learning objectives. Carole and Gordon were particularly impressed by the students’ professionalism and the school’s vibrant learning environment, including the learning walls showcased throughout the building. During the visit, students guided our guests around classrooms, filmed a full interview, and explored the work of the Salvation Army—all of which highlighted their confidence, preparation, and growing journalistic skill.
