On Thursday 21st September, Pendle Community High School & College welcomed a visit from the Mayor of Pendle, Cllr. Brian Newman, as part of his tour to showcase Pendle to other Mayors from across the whole of Lancashire. We accompanied the party of 16 on a tour around our school & college facilities, introducing them to students in various classes along the way. They were very impressed with the different activities taking place and were eager to get involved, with high fives and fist pumps galore… one student even had a special birthday song sung to him by the Mayor and Mayoress of Lancaster! The students were amazed by all of the gold chains and were very excited to meet all of these new people. The tour ended in the college catering kitchen, where the catering students had put together tea, coffee and scones for all to enjoy.
