The Children and Families Bill passed through Parliament has introduced new legislation in September 2014.

The Government’s aim is to provide better outcomes for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities and to improve the experience of parents/carers when securing support for their children.

As part of the legislation Local Authorities are required to publish a Local Offer www.lancashire.gov.uk/SEND, which will show the special educational provision and support available to disabled children, young people and their families. Please click on the image on the right to view the response of Pendle Community High School and College to that Local Offer (PDF format).
