What a fantastic time we had on our Ullswater residential to Outward Bound Trust! Each student had a wonderful time exploring the great outdoors. The students overcame big fears and achieved things they never thought they could.

On our first day, we strapped on our head torches and delved down into the underground tunnels and squeezed through some small spaces to find our way back outside. Later, we walked through the trees to find a lovely spot for our evening bonfire where we toasted marshmallows.

After a hearty breakfast on Tuesday morning, we were kitted up and made our way across the lake to Angle tarn on a passenger boat where we saw some beautiful scenery. We had some splashing fun and had a go at gorge walking. Everyone loved it! The students climbed all the way up to the waterfall and some even stood under the big waterfall! Later that evening after some delicious tea, we were out on the lake again. Only this time, we were powerboating – ZOOMING across the lake! It was safe to say that the students were ready for bed Tuesday night!

On our last morning, the students were up bright and early and enjoyed a tasty breakfast again. They then head out to walk up a big hill to see the most beautiful scenery of the surrounding areas.

A fabulous time was had by all!
